  • Information on original 1957 book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” Theodor Seuss Geisel, television film animation (differences), play production

  • Literary Components: Narrative Poem, Poetry Devices (onomatopoeia, rhyme, repetition, alliteration), Sensory  Imagery, Plot Elements and Diagram (Exposition, Conflict, Rising Action, Events, Climax, Falling Action, Resolution)

  • Read “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”

  • In small groups, create a plot diagram of the narrative poem, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”
